Yes, tonight I am in the mood to post! I live in a pleasant city in Tuscany (Lucca) for precision in a neighborhood just steps from the walls cittadine.Circa two years ago in this area was begun on the construction of a shopping mall-office said the tip-wand (to me 'this name conjures up in order: a huge ice cream coated with chocolate , and the advertising heart of the oil with a huge jump the fence). The chosen area was known as an area of historical interest, in fact there is a gasometer dating from the nineteenth century (if you call there will be an area GESAM why). It was also already quite obvious (of course, in theory, soprattuo by analyzing documentary and other findings) that the area was an ancient river port city, this area was also bombed during World War II. During the work has in fact emerged: the remains of Etruscan walls of the dock at the port, old ovens buried in the vault of the gasometer century. Only work undertaken have been carried out the checks required by the rules, following the requests of citizens and associations. The Archaeological Service has even proposed the creation of an archaeological park, which of course was beautifully ignored. The work was interrupted only by the abduction of the yard penalty (11/11/2010), though now the 'Lovely Bones' are surrounded by a fantastic cast of concrete! My question is ... what happens now? My hope is that there is a recovery of this area of great interest, and in my wildest fantasies I dare to dream really even an archaeological park and the ability to maintain and make all visitors to this area, but I greatly fear that this is only an illusion and I wonder what will happen in the meantime, ie in time that passes between the current situation 'suspended' and then the decision will be taken! People meditate, meditate!
